Milan Lasica was awarded the AČFK Annual Prize “for the charm with which he overcame all his career and personal hardships, for the hope that radiates from all melancholic sceptics he played and for the humour that’s always needed.” After receiving a huge standing ovation, Lasica added: “I am glad that I have lived to the age of receiving prizes. I was never truly significant personality, but film is something that I have always loved.”
