As usual, Summer Film School will preview the lastest films by Czech and Slovak directors: Marko Škop’s Let There Be Light (KVIFF Best Actor Award, special recognition of KVIFF’s Ecumenical Jury, and ending among the TOP 10 in audience voting), Martin Mareček’s documentary feature Over the Hills, Michal Hogenauer’s A Certain Kind of Silence starring Eliška Křenková, The Play by our last year’s guest Alejando Fernández Almendras, original road movie Old-Timers by Martin Dušek and Ondřej Provazník, or medium length action movie First Action Hero by Jan Haluza. SFS will also screen one episode of TV series How Not to Screw up Your Life, Non-stop Deli by Jan Hřebejk starring Miroslav Krobot and Eliška Křenková, and Tomasz Wiński’s medium length absurdist comedy George the Dog, Refugee.
