Head programmer Jan Jílek and marketing director Silvie Suchnová have opened this year‘s SFS Presents section. You can again select which one of the three films will be sent to the ACFC distribution.
The section was kicked off last year when it won great audience acclaim. Now the audience may again vote for their favourite European film which will then be brought to the Czech cinema distribution.
The first film on the menu is The Delinquent Season (2017). “A precise study of human relationships with everything around,” said Jan Jílek about the drama with Cillian Murphy. The second competitor is And Breathe Normally (2018), an Islandic drama focusing on the topic of immigration and other rather intimate issues, and the third player is the French zombie horror entitled The Night Eats the World (2018).
