Summer Film School Uherské Hradiště will introduce von Trier’s lesser-known works as well as his most fundamental feature films.
The new SFS section called Icon will be dedicated to contemporary cult film directors and will focus on tracking their ways up to the iconic heights. The section will be curated by Peter Schepelern, Professor at the University of Copenhagen and an author of the only von Trier’s monography that has been published in Czech. Schepelern’s lectures will be composed specially for SFS. The second guest will be Anders Refn, one of the closest von Trier’s assistants and an editor of most of his films.
